The BELLY UP STORY

Belly Up Productions was launched in 1995 by founder and CEO Pete Sepenuk, producing features, television shows, commercials, promos, trailers and live events.

In 1996, Pete associate produced the feature GOOD LUCK with James Earl Jones, Gregory Hines and Vincent D'Onofrio. He also began directing television series and producing and directing TV commercials.

Pete edited the feature films WELCOME TO PARADISE with Brian Dennehy, SERBIAN SCARS with Michael Madsen and Mark Dacascos, and CAT CITY with Brian Dennehy and Julian Sands. All three were in film festivals all over the world and were released theatrically.

In 2013, Pete co-wrote and edited the hit fashion documentary feature, CHASING BEAUTY, which spent over two weeks at #1 both on the iTunes documentary and independent film chart, and hit #2 in all rentals on iTunes, beating out studio giants like ARGO, SKYFALL, THE HOBBIT and ZERO DARK THIRTY. It also played in several film festivals worldwide and was voted one of the top 10 fashion docs of all time by Buzzfeed and Vogue.

Recently, he produced and directed spots for GHOSTBUSTERS, DC COMICS, DISNEY, THE WALKING DEAD and HONKAI STAR RAIL, and edited, produced and ran all post production for the Showtime original A GENIE’S TAIL, starring Laura Marano and Jake Paul, as well as the original TUBI feature thriller DIGITAL KILLER, coming soon.
